Pre-K Programs
Kitty Ward Elementary has three early childhood programs.
Early Childhood Inclusion Program
The Early Childhood Inclusion Preschool Program is for preschool-aged children in the Las Vegas community. Typical peers serve as models for the students participating in the Special Education Program.
The Early Childhood Inclusion program is for children ages 3, 4 and 5 years old (not eligible for kindergarten). The classroom is made up of 50% special education students and 50% kids from the community. Typical peers must be 4-5 years old. There is one teacher and one aide to help our students grow!
Early Childhood Special Education
This classroom is a self-contained program that offers support to students participating in the Special Education Program. The classroom size is smaller than a general education preschool program. There is one teacher and one aide to help our students grow!
