Mission Statement
The mission of Kitty Ward Elementary School is to provide a safe, enthusiastic, and challenging environment that promotes learning and achievement.
We are a community of students, staff, and families working together toward academic success and social growth.

Colors
Our school colors are green, white, and navy blue which honor Kitty McDonough Ward’s Irish heritage.
Mascot
Based on the community’s input, we are the Ward Wolves! Like wolves, Kitty McDonough Ward was a survivor, adopted orphans, loved family, and worked collaboratively with others.

The Kitty Ward Song
The Kitty Ward Song is composed by Mr. Tim Wiegand, music teacher. Watch the song performed by Jam Pack and the Kitty Ward students.
The delightful wolf graphics found in this website were painted by artists, Regina Vinic and Kari Tipton. These wolf graphics are part of the beautiful murals on the hallways of our school. Regina Vinic and Kari Tipton are local artists and owners of Architectural Art Studio. They specialize in murals, faux finishes, and dimensional art. Both artists invest detail in every character they create. Their delightful style is a cross between reality and whimsy.
